Dallas, TX (October 5, 2007) –BeE Woman magazine

Femme Publications LLP has appointed a new editor-in-chief to BeE Woman magazine.

Elizabeth Ritter, previously managing editor of Worth magazine in Malibu, CA takes over the role from editor-in-chief Ana Maria Castronovo, who resigned last month after 4 years at BeE Woman.

Prior to her career with Worth magazine, Ms. Ritter was the managing editor of Time4 Media/Time Inc.'s SHOT Business magazine and served as assistant editor for Outdoor Life. She began her journalism career covering entertainment stories as a stringer for the online division of MTV Networks and later worked as an editorial intern at Us Weekly. Ritter received a bachelor's degree in communications with a business minor from Villanova University and has a master's degree in publishing from New York University.

"I'm very excited about joining the team at BeE Woman magazine," Ritter says. "BeE Woman is an energetic and inspiring force—and sets new expectations for magazines with this type of content. I am very much looking forward to introducing myself to our readers in the winter issue."

BeE Woman’s publisher Celine Gumbiner says, "Liz is brimming with enthusiasm and energy. She has the experience, the knowledge and the creativity to help us develop BeE Woman into a household name on the newsstand today."

With Ms. Ritter’s background in editing other business related magazines and her education in communications and publishing, she will certainly be a valued addition to BeE Woman, which currently sells quarterly across the US and in Canada.
