Not Slowing Down
Women of the baby boomer generation are
known as pioneers, responsible for extending
women's roles in the social, political and business
worlds. And their effectiveness at multi-tasking-
never before had so many women juggled
motherhood and work -means they don't
tire of new ideas. The National Association of
Baby Boomer Women (NABBW) recognizes that
quality and provides an Internet presence where
like-minded women can network, access the
large resource center and find encouragement
in an empowering message: we are yet strong
in numbers and will! NABBW.com.
Part of the Solution
In 2005, CREW (Commercial Real Estate
Women) Network released results from
a first-of-its-kind study that examined
the extent of pay and advancement
disparities in the industry. The results will
be presented for the first time to attendees
at the CREW Network Annual Convention
and Marketplace in Denver, October 3-6,
alongside breakout sessions and workshops
dedicated to affecting change in this industry.
Nearly 1,000 leading women in the field will
gather to discuss these findings as well as to
honor the extraordinary accomplishments
of leaders in the industry by presenting
its Impact and Achievement of Excellence
Awards. The keynote address will be given
by NBC Chief White House correspondent
David Gregory.
